Warranty & support

Coverage that matches how a bay is built.

Last updated Sep 12, 2026

A home golf simulator is not one product. Coverage usually splits between the brands that make the gear and the shop that installs it. This page is how Bones handles that.

1. Two kinds of coverage

  1. Manufacturer warranties on equipment we sell (launch monitor, projector, enclosure components, screen, PC, and software licenses as applicable).
  2. Bones workmanship warranty on the installation and calibration we perform at your site.

We help you use manufacturer warranties when we sold the gear. We do not replace manufacturer terms.

2. Bones workmanship warranty

For installs we complete, Bones warrants that our labor and installation workmanship will be free from defects in workmanship for one (1) year from the handoff date.

Covered examples: improper mounting we performed, loose hardware from our install, calibration we set that fails under normal use due to our setup error.

Not covered: wear items (impact screens, mats, turf under normal hitting), damage from misuse, room moisture or HVAC issues, customer moves or modifications, third-party work after handoff, or equipment defects that are the manufacturer’s responsibility.

Customer-supplied kits: If you buy the enclosure or monitor elsewhere and we hang it, we warrant our workmanship only — not the parts you supplied.

Remedy: At our option, re-install, re-calibrate, or repair the workmanship issue. That is your exclusive remedy for workmanship claims under this policy.

3. Support window

For 1 year after handoff, we include support by email or phone for normal “how do I…” questions, software login, and recal tips.

4. Manufacturer / brand warranties

Equipment sold by Bones carries the manufacturer’s warranty in effect at purchase. Typical categories:

  • Launch monitors — ProTee, Uneekor, Trackman, Foresight (as applicable); keep serials and your invoice
  • Projectors — BenQ, Optoma (as applicable)
  • Enclosure / screen / soft goods — Carl’s Place or brand of record; soft goods are often treated as wearable, with normal wear excluded
  • PC / components — builder or component brands
  • Software — GSPro, PurePlay, or platform license and subscription terms (not a hardware warranty)

We assist with claims on products we sold. Response times depend on the brand.

5. Wear items

Impact screens, hitting mats, and turf are consumables. Ball marks, abrasion, and gradual wear are expected and are not defects. Replacement parts can usually be ordered when they wear out.

6. Golf sheds / builder work

The building (pad, structure, shell) is covered under the builder partner’s terms when applicable — not under Bones’ sim workmanship warranty. Bones covers the sim install inside per section 2.

7. How to make a claim

Email info@bonesindoorgolf.com or call (920) 309-6939 with your name, install address, handoff or approximate install date, what’s wrong, photos or video, and proof of purchase. We’ll say whether it’s workmanship vs manufacturer and the next steps.

8. Limits

To the extent allowed by Wisconsin law, Bones’ liability under this policy is limited to repair or re-performance of our workmanship or, for products we sold, assistance under the manufacturer warranty. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages (lost play time, secondary room damage beyond our workmanship, and similar) except where the law requires otherwise.

Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights under Wisconsin or federal law.
